Free access to computers and online family history resources are on offer in a number of London libraries.

Residents living in the London Boroughs of Bexley and Bromley are being invited to get along to libraries during Adult Learner’s Week in May, 2011.

The local service has teamed up with Family History Detectives to help residents reseach family links and history.

The project, History on Your Doorstep, started in 2009 in libraries around Birmingham.

It is now also running in Coventry; Warwickshire; Herefordshire and Derbyshire.

This will be the first time the project has operated in London.
